Saira, RP(Q), MACP
Somewhere along the way, many people learn to shrink themselves to stay loved, accepted, or safe. Saira helps them find their way back to the parts of themselves they had to put aside.
Saira is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. She is a Crisis Responder and a member of the World Health Organization, advocating for mental health awareness within BIPOC and LGBTQ2IA+ communities. With advanced training in trauma, Saira provides compassionate, culturally responsive care tailored to each person's lived experience.
She works with adolescents and adults navigating neurodivergence, childhood trauma, faith-based trauma, LGBTQ2IA+ concerns, depression, complex PTSD, relationship challenges, family dysfunction, and cultural identity. Drawing from CBT, Internal Family Systems, attachment-based approaches, and Compassion Focused Therapy, Saira tailors each session to the individual rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.
As an Indo-Caribbean and South Asian therapist who has AuDHD, Saira understands firsthand how culture, neurodivergence, family expectations, and lived experience can shape emotional wellbeing. Her therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity, creating a space where clients feel seen and empowered to create meaningful, lasting change.
If you have spent so long prioritizing everyone else that you have lost sight of yourself, Saira is ready to help you find your way back.
