Edia Emamyar, RP(Q), MACP

Some people arrive at therapy having already done a great deal of work on their own. They have processed, journaled, talked it through, and still feel something holding them in place. Edia's practice is built for exactly that person.

Edia Emamyar is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. She works with adolescents, adults, couples, and elders navigating trauma, PTSD, ADHD, autism, OCD, borderline personality disorder, addiction, grief, infidelity, and the full complexity of relational life. She provides neurodivergent-affirming care and offers sessions in English, Farsi, and Spanish, bringing a genuinely multicultural lens to her work.

Her approach is integrative and precise, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, CBT, DBT, ERP, somatic therapy, trauma-focused modalities, and attachment-based work, woven together based on what each person actually needs rather than what fits a standard model. Edia holds a particular depth of understanding for clients carrying experiences that are difficult to name, and she creates a space where those experiences can be met with both skill and warmth.

If you are ready for a layer of healing you have not reached before, Edia offers a free virtual consultation with daytime, evening, and weekend availability.
