Kristin Ball

Kristin is a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario who works with adults, teens and children facing ADHD, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation challenges, trauma and major life transitions. Her background in crisis and community mental health means she has supported individuals and families through some of their hardest moments, and she knows how to help people steady themselves and move forward.

If you are ready to stop circling the same problems and start making real change, Kristin is a strong fit. Her style is warm, practical and direct. She pairs compassion with honest feedback, helping you spot the patterns that keep you stuck, build skills that hold up under pressure, and put them to work in everyday life. She brings a brain- and nervous-system-informed lens, so you understand how stress, past experiences and relationships shape your reactions, and what to do about them.

Kristin draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and attachment-informed approaches, tailoring each session to your needs, strengths and goals. She has a particular interest in ADHD and in supporting people through separation, divorce, co-parenting challenges and changing family relationships. Her family's lived experience with ADHD and anxiety gives her a grounded, realistic understanding of how these challenges show up day to day.

With Kristin, you can speak openly without feeling judged and leave each session with something concrete to work on. Outside of work, she is a mom of twins, an avid reader, and happiest in a cozy corner with a stack of books and a cat or three.
