Melissa Duggan, RP(Q), MACP, MEd

You might be navigating ADHD, anxiety, or depression and feeling out of step with everyone around you. You might be a parent trying to understand what your child is experiencing, or an adult facing the pressure of school, career decisions, or figuring out who you are. Melissa works with clients of all ages, bringing a perspective few therapists can offer.

Melissa is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) holding both a Master of Education and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. Her career has spanned education, career development, and clinical training, giving her a unique understanding of the systems and pressures that shape mental health, particularly around ADHD, depression, and anxiety.

Her approach centres on the nervous system first, building coping strategies for big emotions, navigating daily demands, and behavioural activation. She draws on her background in industry and education to support clients through career transitions and the practical realities of school, work, and family life, always starting with how a person's nervous system is doing before moving toward goals.

Real change happens when you feel understood, not fixed. Whether you are looking for support for your child, navigating a major life decision, or simply trying to understand yourself better, Melissa welcomes you to reach out when you are ready
